From humble beginnings in a garage in Palmerston North in 2008, Giggle has taken Aotearoa by storm, boasting over 1,200 locations nationwide. No matter where in the world you go, no-one likes waiting, people love to laugh, and businesses need a receptive audience for effective marketing. So, Giggle created an entertainment network, installing screens in areas of wait such as cafes, gyms, food outlets etc. The screen plays a silent loop of G-rated humorous content, entertaining otherwise impatient customers. Interspersed with the sticky content are commercial messages designed to hold the viewers’ attention, creating a way to deliver advertising messages in a non-interruptive and engaging way.
