Gigi Charters

Casa GIGI is a private fishing marina and lodge located in La Guaira, Venezuela, offering exclusive sport fishing charters in the famous fishing bank "El Placer", better know as a Grand Slam capital in the world, since all of the bill fish species (except for the black marlins) are caught throughout the whole year in good numbers. Blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, and swordfish that congregate in the area welcome international anglers looking for the ultimate challenge. Regular catch as Mahi mahi, wahoo, tuna, barracuda, grouper, amberjack and all sort off Caribbean species are also regular to this fishing paradise. Our experience goes back to 1994, when fisherman and captain Leopoldo Ochoa founded the company as a fishing club, headquarter once to the International Billfish Shootout tournaments back in the day. Nowadays, Gigi Charters also offers surf and leisure charters in the region of La Guaira but particularly to Los Roques, a pristine coral reef archipelago consisting of approximately 350 islands, cays, and islets, which makes for a paradise on earth that attracts visitors, especially from Europe, some of whom come in their own yachts and anchor in the inner, protected shallow waters.
