GigStan is a 3-sided marketplace for Artists, Venues and Fans to Crowdfund Live Music. GigStan applications, both Android and IOS versions, consist of an app for Fans and a Pro app for Artists and Venues. The apps are clean, super simple, intuitive and easy to use. Here’s how it all works together. Artists and venues create profiles. Artists and fans create campaigns for live music shows they want to play or see respectively. Fans and artists spread the word about the shows. Fans purchase tickets. Venues bid to host the shows. Artists pick the winning Venue and the Venue hosts the show. After the show everyone rates each other and funds are distributed between the Artist and the Venue. We believe now is the perfect time to rejuvenate live music with more active participation from fans, artists and venues. In 2019, the industry generated more than $30 billion US. 2020 was devastated with losses of more than 75%, hundreds of venues closed, tours were canceled and fans left starving for live music experiences. The industry is expected to rebound to $28B in 2022 and continue to reach pre-pandemic levels of $31B in 2024 and continuing with 5% YoY CAGR to reach $39 billion US by 2030.
