Bio for Giilang Founder - Rachael Macdonald I am a proud Wiradjuri Woman whose heritage is from the Cowra region. My connection to Country is strong and I am passionate about building my community and creating an environment where we can give back and help others. Living on Yuin Nation land now, through community, Aunts and Uncles, my children and I have learnt who we are, what our heritage is and what connecting to Country really means. I have spent more than 25 years in both the Public and Private Sectors, and I have built a reputation as someone who gets the job done. Some of my key strengths lie in building high performing teams to work on major projects, running operational data warehouses, delivering change across the business, and ensuring Executive engagement and buy in. My extensive experience is across administration, technical and business areas. My ability to absorb and process large amounts of information and translate this into language easily understood by Business and Executives has been demonstrated throughout my long career and is a key focus in the data business world. I have decided to be brave and step up by bringing my heritage and my experience together in the creation of Giilang Consulting Group. Giilang means ‘story’ and my combined heritage and experience positions me to help you through your data journey and create a story worth telling.
