Gilbert Education Foundation

The Gilbert Education Foundation was founded in 2001 we are 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that raises funds for programs that enhance the education of Gilbert Public Schools. Our mission is aligned with the needs of the district but we are a separate entity with our own board of directors and staff and comply with the IRS rules and regulations to retain our tax exempt status as a 501 (c)(3) organization. Over the last 23 years, we have invested over $2.8 million in students, staff, and programs district-wide Gilbert Public Schools (GPS). We do this through the following programs: • Innovation Grants – teachers and campuses • STEAM Initiatives - with a strong focus on introducing female students to pursue careers in STEAM fields • Scholarships – Seniors and Staff • Varsity Letter in Volunteerism Program for High School Students • S.H.A.N.E. Program - provides emergency financial assistance to families and staff in need
