Gilnokie is a South African-based and family-owned business with over 20 years of specialised experience in textiles and sock manufacturing. In February 2023, Kalven Armstrong started Gilnokie with a desire to make a high-quality sock with a knitted design, that was able to retain its quality and moisture-wicking properties over a long season of heavy or light use but remain affordable to the average athlete. We're deeply committed to fostering inclusive communities and supporting local economies. By operating locally, we have direct interactions with our customers, allowing us to continuously improve our product based on their feedback and maintain complete oversight of the manufacturing process.
