Girac Limited was formed in to provide management systems and production process capability advice, as well as environmental risk and impact evaluations world-wide, particularly for the heavy, process and commercial organizations. John provides improvement programmes for all aspects of potential environmental degradation (including duty of care for site assessments, hazardous waste disposal, remediation of ground contamination, sewage and effluent treatment), training, workshops etc for companies seeking approval to ISO14001, ISO9001 and OHSAS18001. John has worked on quality improvement and environmental impact assessment and auditing of management systems for UKAS-accredited certification bodies for which over 500 such missions have been completed over the period 1990 to 2009. He has also acted as environmental expert to support certification bodies in gaining environmental accreditation from the government agency UKAS during both HQ and site witnessed assessments.
