Girl Up Coders (GUC) is one of the communities of the Girl Up, United Nations Foundation, based in Kolkata, India. Our mission is to impact the lives of all the female tech-geeks all over the world. Our top five goals are to: 1. Promote Inclusivity: Ensure that the community is open to individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds. Create a safe and welcoming space where everyone feels valued and respected. Skill Development: Provide opportunities for members to enhance their coding skills through workshops, tutorials, coding challenges, and collaborative projects. Offer resources tailored to different levels of expertise, from beginners to more experienced coders. Networking and Collaboration: Facilitate connections between members to foster collaboration and mentorship. Encourage them to work together on projects, share ideas, and learn from one another. Empowerment: Empower girls to embrace coding and technology as avenues for personal and professional growth. Highlight success stories of women in tech and showcase the impact of coding skills in various industries. 5.Confidence Building: Create activities and discussions that help build members' confidence in their coding abilities.
