Give Basic Needs

Why was Give Basic Needs created? Many in our communities go without basic need items such as food, shelter and medical services. We created this project in order to reduce the suffering people endure, while recognizing the need for more happiness in the world. This understanding led us to form an organization where we randomly give essential resources to those in need. Organization Mission At Give Basic Needs, our mission is to embody “Small Acts. Big Happy.” as an international nonprofit. We partner with Private Operating Foundations, like the Colussi Family Foundation, to deliver critical charitable services—including shelter, food, and medical care—to economically disadvantaged individuals and families. Our random acts of giving are designed to cultivate community happiness and reduce suffering, inspiring those we touch to do the same.
