Givers enrolls, supports, and pays family caregivers through state programs. Family caregivers have lived in the shadows for decades. The care ecosystem is undergoing a massive structural shift that is breaking this shadow workforce. The population over 65 is doubling, long term care costs are skyrocketing, there will 9M direct care job openings by 2030, and the number of caregivers in the US has grown from 43M in 2015 to 63M in 2026. We believe solving this pressure point is not only right for family caregivers, but is also a key piece of the puzzle to fixing the broken care ecosystem at large. When we empower and enlist family caregivers into the system, we create a sustainable path forward for caregivers and fill the broadening care gap in the care ecosystem.
