GIVING STRENGTH INC. is dedicated to raising money to fund research grants and awareness for congenital muscular dystrophy, specifically for the subtype and rare genetic disorder SELENON Related Myopathy which mainly impacts neck and core muscle weakness, causing rigid spine, scoliosis and reduced respiratory function. The GIVING STRENGTH team is made up entirely of volunteers and is fully committed to advancing research towards meaningful treatments for SELENON. Every single dollar raised goes to vetted research and awareness. GIVING STRENGTH is currently funding research at Beggs Laboratory at Boston Children's Hospital, University of Paris, and Instituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri.
