Giz Somalia

On behalf of the German Government, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH works with national, international and private sector partners in Somalia. Our main commissioning party is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Our priority areas in Somalia include Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Resource Management; Resilience building to address the root causes of Migration; and Economic Development and Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The projects and programmes are managed from GIZ’s Country Office in Kenya. The registered offices of GIZ are in Bonn and Eschborn (Germany).
