Glen Haven Manor

It is the goal of Glen Haven Manor to ensure that our facility is a place of caring and sharing. Care has been designed in conjunction with the residents and families to meet their individual needs. This idea adheres to Glen Haven Manor's philosophy of promoting quality of life for residents, as the residents are the most important people in our facility. Glen Haven Manor was built in 1969 with an extension built in 1975 and extensive renovations completed in 1991. Attached to our home is a twenty unit Enriched Housing complex which contracts services from Glen Haven Manor. Glen Haven Manor is a 202 bed facility. Glen Haven Manor is licensed by Nova Scotia Department of Health and accreditated by the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation. It is the shared belief of staff and board members alike that promoting quality of life for residents through the provision of social, recreational, spiritual, and restorative activities is our primary concern. Glen Haven Manor is licensed by the Nova Scotia Department of Health and is accredited with Accreditation Canada. Therefore, we are meeting a provincial and national standard for optimal care.
