GLO Travel is a leading travel company that advocates cultural, knowledge-based, and in-depth tourism in Hong Kong. We offer in-depth travel experiences via cultural group tours, independent trips, corporate & University engagements and story-telling & audio narrating. We follow off the beaten tracks and offer cultural tours to unusual destinations including North Korea, Tibet, Burma, Ukraine (Chernobyl), Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Armenia, Israel & Palestine, Bhutan, Baltics countries and dig deeper in common destinations in East Asia, including Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, curated under the theme of architecture and arts. We partner with Universities and corporates to curate educational outbound programmes to spread our mission to the educational and private sectors. We value knowledge inputs in every tour. We redefine a destination’s themes and invite an expert, ranging from professors, journalists, cultural commentators, Key Opinion Leaders, to follow the groups to provide unique perspectives. We carefully select candidates to become tour mentors whose roles are not only leading the groups, but also provide cultural insights for participating tourists. With time, we aim at building a strong tour mentor team with the view to impacting the landscape of mainstream tourism. Our long-term goal is not only to be a trendsetter in the tourism industry, but also to raise awareness among tourists on the relationship between visitors and local communities and advocate sustainable tourism that helps support local people.
