Global Agents is a rising name among Japanese property developers. We are committed to developing revolutionary new co-living/co-staying platforms for the global community. Global Agents has been operating since 2005 in Japan. Global Agents has been active in co-living developments from when it first took roots in Japan and our founding in 2005. Our vision took shape when founder, Takeshi Yamasaki went to London for six months at the age of 19 and shared a flat with other people from around the world. After having a blast in London, he decided to bring the concept to Japan, where co-living was still unheard of. He took advantage of the popularity of SNS platforms in Japan that were just starting to gain popularity at the time to offer a concept where people could also connect and socialize in their own homes. That's how Social Apartment was born. Global Agents manages over rooms in over 50 different locations across Japan under the Social Apartment brand, and has gained cult popularity for its dedication to stylish common spaces that encourage interaction between residents. The success of the Social Apartment brand encouraged our expansion into the hotel industry. Introducing unique boutique hotels we like to call 'lifestyle hotels', we've implemented similar communal spaces that facilitate interaction between hotel guests. Thoughtfully designed private spaces for the utmost comfort, our lifestyle hotels offer a short-term social experience, not just a hotel to stay at but to compliment your lifestyle. At the end of the day, we like to think of ourselves more as community builders than real estate developers. Our properties are never complete without the amazing people that foster community within them. We don't just develop properties. We make culture.
