We are pleased to introduce Global Carbon Resource J.S.C.(hereinafter “GlobalCarb”), a Hanoi, Vietnam based Joint Stock Corporation that was established in 2009 by experienced entrepreneurs from Vietnam, North and South America. GlobalCarb is a producer of activated carbon from coconut shell as well as anthracite coal. The coconut shell activated carbon operations will commence in Q4 of 2009 by serving domestic customers in Vietnam as well as global customers in water purification, power plant flue gas cleaning and the gold mining industries. Our coconut shell activated carbon factory is located in the far south of Vietnam, in Ben Tre Province, known as the center of the coconut kingdom in the Mekong River Delta. In addition to having an abundant supply of coconut shell raw material and charring capacity, the factory is ideally located for international shipments via a nearby deep water port. With multiple kilns, the GCR factory for coconut shell activated carbon serves customer needs with a product of a variety of size and physical characteristics as well as providing significant capacity to meet demanding end user requirements for a consistent and reliable supply.
