Global Gibbon

Global Gibbon is a small online-based company run by a young professional with a lot of personal experience in tourism in Borneo. The owner, Nick Jansen has lived in Sarawak for four years while working for a local destination management company. He spent a lot of time deep in the jungle with the Iban people, where he learned a lot about the native lifestyle and the natural splendor that Borneo has to offer. Nick also made many a trip through other parts of Sarawak and Sabah soaking up the wonders this mysterious island has to offer. By spending a long time on the destination, Nick became some sort of an expert. He spent a lot of time in a local office in Kuching as a sales consultant combining the right tours for the demanding tourists. After four years of working for a travel company, he decided to put his expertise and knowledge to use and set up his own agency – Global Gibbon. As Nick was born and raised in the Netherlands, he will be able to converse in both English and Dutch, making Global Gibbon a unique travel agent with a western mind-set focusing solely on Malaysian Borneo.
