Global Goals Jam Munich

During the 2015 Social Good Summit, 193 world leaders committed to achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals by the year 2030. As an initiative of the United Nations Development Program and MediaLAB Amsterdam, the Global Goals Jam began to design realistic, actionable interventions for these goals. Right now, there are more than 30 cities from different parts of the world supporting the initiatives from the local action. The Global Goals Jam (GGJ) in Munich is responsible for organising the global event in Munich which consist of short design sprints where creative teams of designers, developers and Jammers from local communities work together using the Global Goals Jam Kit. Together, we create and design interventions for the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). The #GlobalGoalsJam is a unique opportunity for you to design and test solutions to global issues, where you will be able to put into practice or learn new skills in different areas that can go from data science to digital design and building relationships and connections. You will also have the opportunity to apply your teamwork skills and do networking and connections with people that share your interests.
