Global History Network
The Global History Network (GHN) is an academic research group mainly based in China which connects with other research institutions and universities from the East (Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, etc) and the West (Mexico, other Latinamerican countries, U.S.A. and Europe). The network was founded by professor Manuel Perez Garcia (Renmin University of China) and Zhang Li (Beihang University) jointly with other scholars such as professor Lucio de Sousa (Tokyo University of Foreign Studies), Liu Beicheng (Tsinghua University), Antonio Ibarra (UNAM), Luis Jauregui (Instituto Mora) and François Gipouloux (EHSS). The aim is to conduct and undertake research projects based on global history in China, which has been isolated from such cutting-edge historiographical trend. We connect with researchers from all over the world in order to enrich the different visions and experiences on global history and how scholars should use western and eastern sources for particular case studies.
