Global Processing & Marketing (Pvt) Ltd.(GPM) – Formerly, RFM Loyalty (Pvt) Ltd. Was established in the 2003, as a Venture Capital Investment funded by TMT Ventures, introducing an innovative idea accompanied with unique technology in the Pakistan’s local market. GPM immediately established a niche in the market by offering complete Smart card based solutions for Banks, Corporate and/or Retail sector. Since its inception, GPM has been successfully engaged in the development and deployment of Smart Card as well as Magnetic Stripe based solutions for various clients. With the technological edge over its competitors as well as the unique products offering by GPM, it immediately captured attention in the local market and United Bank Limited (UBL) was the first prestigious client to get on board. With UBL, GPM launched Pakistan’s First EMV Compliant Chip-based VISA Credit Card which was also the first in the entire South-Asia Region. As the company continued to progress and expand, TII completely acquired GPM from TMT Ventures in August 2006 and since then the company’s objectives have further broadened and diversified significantly. GPM also owns and operates Pakistan's first smart card EMV enabled POS Terminal Network “SmartLink” that has been deployed all over Pakistan in various cities. SmartLink comprises of POS terminal model VERIFONE 3750, dual purpose machine, capable of processing smart chip cards as well as magnetic strip cards. GPM has projected to complete POS terminals deployment nationwide by the year-end 2010. Furthermore, GPM has also purchased the VERIFONE VX510 and INGENICO I 7910 which would offer its merchants the facility of wireless connectivity. GPM aims to be the Pakistan’s Largest POS network provider and with TII’s support and benefaction, GPM will also be introducing globally proven and successful loyalty products as well as financial and/or non-financial products in the local markets.
