GRES provides three broad types of service to deliver this integration: planning, education, measures. Planning - a strategic approach to acquiring the appropriate energy efficient technology, and operational procedures, facility life cycle, integration of renewable energy sources and verification and monitoring of effectiveness of plans for continuous improvement. Education - decision makers, building occupants and building operators need to be aware of technology, systems and behavior changes needed and how to sustain efforts to create a sustainable foot print. Measures - results motivate, inspire and sustain effort and innovation. Appropriate real-time measures to demonstrate effectiveness of efficiency programs is central to both immediate and long term results.
