Global Wave Parks (GWP) is a developer of Wave Parks or Surf Parks - sports, leisure and entertainment venues based around artificial surfing technology. GWP works on large-scale commercial projects, residential and real estate projects, and smaller projects for complexes such as shopping centres. Our team brings together leading industry experts and partners from the sports, leisure and entertainment markets, specialising in infrastructure development and operation. GWP develops Wave Parks and Surf Parks which are optimised for the experiences of a wide range of guests, delivering sustainable profits and maximised returns for investors. Our focus during project development is on optimising the infrastructure for construction, operation, revenue generation and sustainability. This is particularly important in capital intensive projects where infrastructure can have a useful life of 30-50 years. Once a park is open, GWP brings strong experience in operations, revenue maximisation and managing for sustainability. With Wave Parks and Surf Parks a new business with no existing direct benchmarks, getting the operation right from day 1 is both difficult and critical to ensure customer satisfaction and maximise revenues. The first years are the most important period for investor returns and there is no comfort period to ‘learn’ and ‘refine’ the business. We believe we are uniquely placed to deliver on this challenge, by delivering maximal results from day 1. GWP is currently developing numerous new venues across 3 continents, with the first 2 projects expected to open in the second half of 2015.
