The origins of Globall Coach can be traced back to a one-off charity event featuring elite football manager Rafael Benitez speaking to a large theatre audience about Liverpool’s famous Champions League victory in Istanbul. Rather than explain his tactics verbally Rafa wanted a way to do it visually, but with nothing on the market even close to doing this, he commissioned a simple iPad app especially for the show. Simple it may have been but it was so effective when projected to that large audience it was immediately obvious it would also work up close - coaches explaining ideas to players visually, overcoming the language barriers faced in most modern dressing rooms. With Globall Coach the old tactics boards and flipcharts make way for tablets and big screens, and magnetic markers are replaced by moving counters on the screen, helping the coach work through the language barrier present in every modern football dressing room. Set plays can be created and then, without having to start all over from the beginning, adapted and tuned and used time and time again. Clubs are able to plan training sessions, create drills and manage their squads. All of this work can be shared - securely - allowing collaboration between staff in a way that is unique to the market. Globall Coach has already helped clubs win titles like the English Premier League, the Coppa Italia and the Europa League.
