From my time working in care, I have noticed that other providers do not put their service users at the centre of what they do. At Glowing Care, the service user is placed at the forefront of our domiciliary care services and we strive to make a difference by being there when needed at all times for those we support. From my time working in mental health as a staff nurse and care coordinator, I have acquired many transferrable skills, such as assessment and team management skills, comprehensive care planning, record-keeping skills, safe administration of medication, the use of research-based and reflective-based practice. I am also fluent in German, French, Pidgin English and a local Cameroonian language called Akum. I also have academic accreditation from Teesside University, where I studied as a Best Interests Assessor and qualified in 2018.
