BUILDING LONG LASTING RELATIONSHIPS FOR OVER 40 YEARS. General Vy-Coat LLC (GVC) has been servicing their customers since 1968 with all their vinyl needs. Started by Frank Chaimovits, GVC has been synonymous with quality and service at a competitive price. In 1974 Sol and Raizel Chaimovits joined the company as the current owners and CEO and are active on a day to day basis. In the 1990s GVC developed a photoluminescent vinyl product that was used on firefighter uniforms and emergency personnel. Following the attacks on 9/11/2001, the Glowscape product line was launched. In 2006 Ira Chaimovits, the third generation entered the company as VP heading up sales, new product development and marketing. As a family run company, GVC takes a personal interest in each and every account to see that their needs are met both in their existing product and in developing new product to keep up with a rapid code changing industry.
