Gluconetix

Gluconetix is an early-stage startup company dedicated to providing novel solutions and user experience that enable people with diabetes to effortlessly collect and gain insightful information for self-care and sharing with their healthcare team. While a cure is the ultimate goal, today’s approach to diabetes management is to help patients maintain glucose levels as normal as possible. Frequent glucose monitoring and often complex pharmacological regimens and associated delivery systems require high levels of self-care management skills. In addition, rigorous nutrition surveillance and regular physical activity are required to reach these glucose level goals. The ability to comply with recommendations and meet glucose goals can be challenging, if not impossible for patients in our dynamic, time constrained culture. Kids with diabetes pose an even greater challenge.
