Tweeddale Groundcare was started in 2004, Initially carried out garden maintenance and selling firewood. 13 years on the business is now called GM Land Solutions to suit the wide variety of work we undertake including full landscape garden design and build service, tree surgery, groundwork as well as all the services that are included in that such as paving, fencing, turfing, decking, planting, drainage, walling etc. There is a constantly increasing fleet of machines, to reflect the mix of projects we undertake. This gives us the edge on the competition and enables us to be reactive and efficient without having to rely on third parties. Whilst we continue to undertake private work, the last few years have seen the business move more towards commercial clients and the mix of services works very well, saving clients the need to appoint 2 or 3 different contractors, we can cover it all in house - saving the client time and meaning the project goes quickly and smoothly with only one point of contact. This has led to us having repeat work from several other businesses and organisations such as Shettleston Housing Association and the University of Edinburgh.
