GMCF is a non-profit organization committed to providing charity and educational services and resources for NYC communities. We wish to help out and provide opportunities for those in any stage of their lives. Our founder, Glaelle Mathurin, is a young woman of color who has a passion to help the youth of her community. She received her Associate’s degree in Business Administration from CUNY Queensborough Community College and her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration - Human Resources Management from CUNY York College. During her senior year she was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship from the CUNY York Alumni association, which gave her great relief to focus on getting into her field after graduation. Being a scholarship recipient sowed the seed of passion in helping other students focus solely on their education and future. Witnessing first-hand the huge financial need students in her community face, she founded GMCF In April 2022. Since then, GMCF has been active in NYC, hosting community events, providing workshops, and raising money for scholarships. In addition, there are many plans we wish to roll out to further our growth and give more to the NYC community.
