Go Balance

Go Balance is a carbon project development company. We develop and actively manage the Trocano Araretama Project, a large-scale avoided deforestation project located in Amazonas, Brazil. Go Balance implements the Trocano project in partnership with the Municipality of Borba. The project area totals over of 1.3 million hectares, making it one of the largest REDD+ projects in the world. The project has generated fully verified Natural Capital Credits, which are high-quality carbon credits, each representing 1 tonne of avoided CO2e. Natural Capital Credits are also verified as delivering socio-economic benefits and biodiversity protection within the project area. Our nature-based carbon offsets can be used by companies of all sizes as a practical offsetting solution. They can be easily and effectively integrated into corporate net zero and ESG strategies, or for companies simply looking to offset their unavoidable operational emissions. As the project developer, Go Balance provides sustainability solutions, helping companies achieve their environmental targets cost-effectively, supplying carbon offsets directly from our own REDD+ forest carbon project and at significant volumes. Natural Capital Credits are voluntary market carbon offsets, achieved under the Natural Forest Standard. The project has been independently validated and verified prior to credit issuance by leading third-party GHG validators and verifiers under ISO 14065:2013 and ISO 14064-3:2013 guidelines. The sale of our Natural Capital Credits ensures ongoing community development and biodiversity protection while preventing deforestation in the Trocano Project.
