Go Vote Miami

After actively participating in various politically engaged groups during 2017 we agreed to focus on Voter Registration and Voter Information as the important first step to boost voter engagement. GoVoteMiami started out as a one month long Voter Registration and Information Campaign and now offers tools and resources to create VR events all year long. In March 2018 GVM created over 130 events throughout Miami-Dade County dedicated to make information and tools accessible to allow every eligible citizen to “Be Election Ready!” We reached out to friends, clubs, companies, school, organizations and places of worship. Volunteers created voter registration opportunities at local YMCAs, farmers markets, schools, festivals, in their homes and at neighborhood parks, the Miami Zoo, near Courthouses, at PAMM, at Miami-Dade College and many more locations. We built the 2018 March Campaign to amplify everyone’s efforts and raise awareness about how to “Be Election Ready”.
