In Hong Kong, we're the GP for the Alibaba HK Entrepreneurs Fund, building the Greater Bay Area (GBA) startup ecosystem. Gobi is the first China-based VC firm to go international. We’ve taken the strengths and successful frameworks gained from our Chinese market experience, and apply them to the rest of the markets we operate in Asia. We have 13 locations, and a footprint that covers Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. Gobi GBA portfolio companies include Airwallex, GOGOX, WeLab, Prenetics, AutoX, SHOPLINE, DayDayCook, Hyphen Group, EFINIX, AQUMON, Qupital, LYNK, Sandbox VR, Fano Labs, and OneDegree. We support our portfolio companies in every way we can, providing management guidance, operational know-how, and most importantly, access to the Gobi network we've built with our Limited Partners (LPs) since 2002.
