Gofficient Ug

gofficient UG is an engeering start up with focus on energy efficiency, thermodynamics and smart mobility. We are a Spin-Off of the RWTH Aachen and are located in Aachen, Germany We have developed several innovative thermodynamic concepts for improvisng the efficiency of internal combustion engines (ICE), most of them utilizing waste heat recovery (WHR), with outstanding efficiency increase for on-road vehicle applications as well as steady-state power generation. For all our concepts, we run simulations on industry tools like GT Suite and Matlab/Simulink, but we also have developed our own simulation software SimEngine/SimThermo. We focus on developing advanced control strategies, for engine control units (ECU) and for general purpose. We handle all kinds of mechatronics and love to integrate AI into our control models, such as online adpatation or offline trained neural networks.
