The objective of Goldemar is to commercialize gold clusters for air purification, emissions / odor control and volatile compounds elimination. The technological base of Goldemar is the high catalytic activity of gold nanoclusters at room temperature. The rationale behind the creation of the company is the breakthrough development of a synthetic process that allows for the simple, economic and scalable synthesis of these gold clusters. The process to obtain the clusters and the potential applications are protected by a patent. The room temperature catalytic activity of gold clusters is interesting for many industrial applications such as oxidation of CO from vehicle emissions, oxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOC) or the oxidation of odor related chemicals.
