Founded by Prof. Khalid Mohamed El Zahaby, GEC has started providing its services since 1996, more than quarter of a century. GEC was previously known as Golden Engineering Consultations (GEC) up to 2021 where the entity’s status has changed to Golden Engineering Company (GEC). Our activities have been spread all over the Egyptian territories in addition to some projects in several countries in the Middle East, e.g, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Yemen, Libya, etc. Our presence lately extended to other countries in the African continent. GEC has always been eager to hire highly qualified personnel in all aspects, i.e, engineers, Ph.D. holders, geological engineers, geologists, accountants, and technicians. GEC is keen to purchase top of the notch field and laboratory equipment in addition to latest versions of geotechnical software. GEC has been involved in a vast variety of the ongoing developments nationwide, including, but not limited to, subsurface geotechnical investigation, geophysical studies, geotechnical design of foundations, monitoring of structures’ performance, surveying works, various shoring systems (including secant anchored piles, contiguous anchored (and/or strutted) piles, diaphragm walls, MSEW), dewatering, in situ quality control (e.g, inspecting bottom of exaction, Sand cone test, Dynamic PLT, static PLT, etc.), assessing and suggesting remedies for mal-functioning structures, etc. GEC has a cooperation with highly qualified experts to deal with tasks linked to geotechnical works to precisely accomplish the tasks assigned to us.
