Our company, GOLDEN POTATO, has a main goal of developing an autonomous system that cultivates edible plants in homes. The end goal of the product is taking away the tedious work of home farming from the user/consumer. The product is responsible for both monitoring the plant, soil, air, lighting status and taking actions of watering, fertilizing, lighting, heating, ventilation, agricultural spraying, and notifying the user. The dream idea is that the user sets up the product at the beginning then forgets it until it gets a “ready for harvest” notification on their mobile devices.
