Good Grub

Good Grub is a not-for profit initiative delivering fruit & veg packs directly to families of DEIS school children in disadvantaged communities across Ireland who are suffering due to COVID-19. These children would usually receive two meals a day from their school, since the COVID-19 crisis this service has been drastically reduced. Good Grub has been set up to help alleviate the pressures on parents and government. Although the government, with the support of their existing DEIS school lunch suppliers will for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis, provide basic weekly family food packs to the value of €10, more has to be done. The ‘Good Grub’ team spotted the need to supplement these deliveries with a vital, fresh fruit & veg parcel. Every euro donated by you goes directly to making this happen. There is a strong desire from those behind this project to apply a high degree of rigour and governance to the structures underpinning the project for its anticipated short duration.
