Good Influence Films

Good Influence Films is a content driven company that collaborates with storytellers and changemakers to bring unique and compelling stories to the world. In response to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, Good Influence Films launched the Indigenous 150+ initiative, a film and conversation series celebrating Indigenous voices, which has since expanded into a media training program for First Nations, Métis and Inuit young people. Committed to supporting diverse voices and emerging talent, Good Influence Films is collaborating with several filmmakers including Jerry Wolf of Cinethetica, Banff Indigenous Screen Summit Pitch Participant 2022, and Turkish filmmaker and video artist Yeşim Tabak. About Indigenous 150+: Indigenous 150+ is a film and conversation series dedicated to putting Indigenous voices centre-stage. It was founded in 2017 as a response to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action in partnership with M’Wikwedong Indigenous Friendship Centre and community members of Saugeen Ojibway Nation Territory, and the Great Lakes Métis Council. In 2019 it evolved into a media training program supporting emerging First Nations, Métis and Inuit young people. Original curriculum was developed by One Dish One Mic, with training led and facilitated by Sean Vanderklis.
