I work with people and organisations to help them make sense of what’s going on at work, and move forward with more clarity and direction. That might mean coaching a senior leader who’s feeling stuck, designing a team development programme, or helping an organisation get to the root of performance or culture issues. Most of my work falls into two areas: coaching and consulting. As a coach, I mostly work with senior leaders, or people who have just moved into a leadership role. The focus might be career direction, leadership identity, performance or team dynamics. Often it’s a mix of all of those. I help clients reflect, think through options, experiment with new ways of working, and get clearer on how they want to lead and why. I bring structure when things feel messy, and keep things anchored in their goals and context. As a consultant, I support organisations to unpick complex or fuzzy challenges - often around leadership, performance and culture. Every project starts with the brief: What’s really going on? Do people see the problem the same way? What are we trying to shift, and how will we know it’s working? From there, I offer practical, evidence-based advice that helps things work better for the business and the people in it. When needed, I work with a small group of trusted collaborators: organisational psychologists and expert practitioners who share the same strategic, pragmatic and human approach.
