Goodwill National Cooperative Purchasing Program
The Goodwill National Cooperative Purchasing Program or the NCPP began in 2014 with the purpose of providing Goodwill member organizations a source for finding savings in the marketplace on items we buy. Through collaboration and a cooperative effort, the program was designed to leverage the buying power of the collective Goodwill brand so that it could yield savings for it's participating members. We are currently working with +20 supplier partners that provide special pricing for over 500 goods and services. Over 93 of our 163 Goodwills have utilized at least one of our partners during 2016 The program had $3.6 million in sales during 2016 and is expected to reach $5 million in 2017 Goodwills saved nearly $1 million. Goodwill NCPP has room to grow as it tries to create savings for the members, due to the fact that Goodwill's purchase $100 -$200 million in supplies each year.
