P&A’s main business is manufacturing premium paint roller fabrics, but the company was looking to diversify its offerings. It took a woman’s ingenuity to think the paint roller fabric might make an incredibly soft baby blanket. Though initial testing revealed the need to move away from the paint roller fabric, the wheels were set in motion. Partnering with an overseas manufacturer, P&A moved full steam ahead with blanket production and brand development. The fledgling GooseWaddle blanket shipment arrived in North Carolina last fall, and moms and babies alike have been oohing and aahing ever since.
