強羅花壇 Gora Kadan

Nestled in the serene natural scenery of Hakone, GORA KADAN is a traditional Japanese-style inn (ryokan) with a rich history. Originally the villa of the imperial Kan'in-no-miya family, it opened as a ryokan in 1948. The property, spanning roughly four acres, harmonizes modern architecture with the beauty of the four seasons. In 1992, Gora Kadan became a member of the world-renowned luxury hotel and restaurant association Relais & Châteaux, and in 2002 it received the Welcome Trophy for providing exceptional service and guest satisfaction. In July 2024, it earned the highest Michelin Key ranking of Three Keys in Asia’s first Michelin Key selection. Looking ahead, GORA KADAN is expanding its legacy: GORA KADAN FUJI opened at the foot of Mt. Fuji in July 2025, followed by the luxury golf club GORA KADAN FUJI GOLF in October. Another property is scheduled to open in Kyoto in 2030.
