Our mission is to be a global online sales organization with a highly motivated team determined to exceed customer expectations, continue to improve quality, and deploy technology to ensure exceptional growth and profits. The name Gordian Project comes from the idiom to "cut the Gordian knot”. To “cut the Gordian knot” is to solve a difficult problem in a strong, simple and effective way, or to get to the heart of a problem. In this fashion, the Gordian Project translates to who we are, as a company. We have an insatiable desire to get to the heart of the problem, to continuously, diligently, efficiently and aggressively tackle numerous projects. Ingrained in this philosophy, is an unquenchable desire to recognize, appreciate and capitalize on opportunity. Included in our projects, are internet retail websites in multiple verticals, such as PlumberSurplus.com and our most recent endeavor, OutdoorPros.com. The Gordian Project was honored to be named one of Internet Retailers Hot 100 Sites for 2008, a Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards finalist for 2007 and an MCM award Winner for 2008. PlumberSurplus.com is a pure play online retailer offering thousands of home improvement, plumbing and building products in a diverse array of categories. These categories are expanding continuously with a large product offering of tools, lighting, faucets and anything related to home improvement. Since launch in 2004, PlumberSurplus.com has provided an easy, secure and customer centric online destination. Launched in 2008, OutdoorPros.com is a pure play online retailer offering a tremendous assortment of outdoor products, supplies, equipment, and gear for the adventure enthusiast.As a pure online retailer we use our best efforts to give the customer the comforts of the in-store experience without having to leave their homes, or in our customer’s case… their tents.
