GOTEX is a globally operating company, part of Coats Plc. Group, that has been serving the industry with cost effective fibre-based solutions since 1947. Our strength is to find and satisfy specific Customer needs both in Telecom and Enegry industries. The company is located in Lliçà d'Amunt, Spain, approximately 30 kilometres from the thriving centre of Barcelona close to an international sea- and airport. The essence of what we offer our Customers is knowledge. The knowledge of high-performance fibres and specialty coatings that further enhance your product. Through twisting, narrow weaving, coating, winding, splicing and moulding technologies, we can make a wide variety of custom fiber-based solutions. We are continuously expanding our knowledge base through research and through cooperation with other knowledge centers and our Customers. Our product range includes a wide selection of coated and uncoated roving, yarns, tapes and composite materials to cover a wide variety of industrial applications.(e.g. the cable industry and elements for flexible hoses, pipes, risers and umbilicals for the offshore industry) We are ISO 9001 certified and quality is a core foundation in our company. Our research, development, and engineering teams are continuously evaluating new materials and processes that allow us to offer improved products and solutions to satisfy the needs of our Customers. Since 6 June 2016, Gotex has become a part of Coats Group Plc.
