Gothenburg Artificial Intelligence Alliance

The Gothenburg Artificial Intelligence Alliance (GAIA) is a non-profit association that promotes interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and data engineering in Gothenburg and the surrounding area. We are a community connecting AI practitioners across industry, academia, and the public sector. We have hosted our annual GAIA Conference since 2018, and our community roots in the Machine Learning and Data Science (GBG) Meetup date back to 2014. GAIA offers knowledge-sharing and networking through regular events. We hold Meetups roughly bi-monthly and arrange our conference annually in the spring. Between events, our members can engage through the GAIA Slack. We aim to support a strong regional community and ecosystem within artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and data engineering, enabling startups, scaleups, and established companies to thrive. Networking across domains and spreading local and external knowledge are key to a prosperous community.
