Government Delivery Unit

The Government Delivery Unit (GDU) is an integral multi-disciplinary function within the Executive Office of the President, based in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Delivery and Government Efficiency, that is mandated with the coordination, monitoring and evaluation, fast-tracking, and reporting on the implementation of priority policies, programs, and projects, including Presidential Directives, as outlined in the Kenya Government Manifesto and Mid-Term Development Plans. Tracking Tracking and reporting on the status of National Government Priorities, Projects, Programmes and Presidential Directives, 2. Problem Solving Providing practical interventions on Government Priorities, Projects and Programmes that are facing challenges or bottlenecks, 3. Project Verification Carrying out independent verification to determine the true status of government projects being implemented in the Regions and Counties 4. Communication Public Awareness Creation on the Progress and Achievements of National Government Priorities through the public portal, digital and print media.
