Welcome to Grab A Plate's LinkedIn page! We are a nonprofit charity organization focused on combating homelessness through community outreach, housing assistance, and social services. At Grab A Plate (GAP), our mission is to provide vital support and resources to those experiencing homelessness. Through our GAP MEALS Program, we go beyond nourishment, creating a sense of family and belonging. Our dedicated volunteers serve nutritious meals and distribute clothing to up to 200 individuals, ranging from toddlers to seniors, twice to three times a month. In our GAP Work Program, we empower participants with life-skills training, offering potential full-time employment and affordable housing solutions. By fostering confidence and self-sufficiency, we help individuals break free from the cycle of homelessness. Through our partnership with House of Hope LA, a certified nonprofit, we provide comprehensive housing assistance to low-income and homeless individuals. Our collaborative efforts ensure safe and stable housing, helping clients rebuild their lives and become productive members of society.
