The Grad School Road Map team are all former graduate admissions directors at top-tier schools and now are writers, speakers and coaches for the admissions process. Since the company was founded by Dr. Don Martin in 2008, more than 300 graduate school applicants have been successfully coached in arts and sciences, business, law, medicine (master’s and doctoral), with a 97% acceptance rate. For over 28 years, Dr. Don served as Admissions Dean and/or Dean of Students at Columbia University (Teachers College), The University of Chicago (Booth School of Business), Northwestern University (Medill School of Journalism), and Wheaton College (IL). He is the author of "Road Map for Graduate Study: A Guide for Prospective Graduate Students," first released in 2008 and a second edition released in 2018. Dr. Don and Managing Director Kevin Kiley have worked with thousands of prospective students and collectively have more than 50 years of higher education experience. Most of all, we share a deep commitment to, and successful track record in, helping individuals achieve their educational and professional goals. The Grad School Road Map team has given presentations and webinars for over 50 universities and for organizations such as The MBA Tour, the Forte Foundation, the Educational Testing Service, EducationUSA and GradSchools.com. For universities, we work with career centers, alumni offices and student organizations to provide presentations on topics such as research, overall application preparation, and funding tips.
