A Translational Research Institute for Data Science, accelerating the academic research PoCs to commercial or socially viable products. In addition to offering formal training on real-time industry projects to bring promising data-driven leaders to the community, GradValley is also building a Data Innovation Lab (GDIL) to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and industrial big data applications. The hardware and software provided by the GIDS Data Innovation Lab will enable researchers and startups to perform their data analytics without acquiring, for example, separate licensing or dealing with complicated cost structures on hardware and software. It gives an opportunity to industrial data providers to analyze their data together with academic partners, entrepreneurs or researchers in a fully secured on-premise environment at GradValley.
