Grainland Cooperative
Farmers Grain Cooperative of Eureka and Secor Elevator Company merged in July and formed GRAINLAND Cooperative. On August 1, 2014, Minier Cooperative Grain Company merged with GRAINLAND Cooperative. GRAINLAND has six locations. We are located in Eureka, Secor, El Paso, Minier, Emden, and Armington in Illinois. The surving company of the mergers was started in 1903 so we were able to celebrate 100 years of being in business in 2003. Total storage capacity at all six locations total over 24 million bushels. The commodities we handle are corn, beans, and wheat. We offer drying on corn and storage on all the commodities we handle. The Eureka facility has rail loading capability on the TPW railroad and has a track capacity to load 110 cars at a time. The Emden facility has rail loading capability on the CN railroad and has a track capacity to load 25 cars at a time. The majority of grain out of Eureka and Emden is shipped by rail. Grain out of Secor, El Paso, Minier, Armington is all shipped out by semi trucks.
