The Hollies was the first Care Home in the group based in Clayton-le-Moors in 1980, originally as a care home, which has since become a 37 bedded nursing home. Haydock Nursing Home, based in Ramsgreave Blackburn, was established in 1991. This has been developed to become a specialised 50 bed home offering only the best in Nursing, Nursing Dementia and Complex case care. A third home, Birch Hall Care Centre, in Darwen was acquired in 2011 completes the group’s portfolio. At 80 beds ranging over 3 floors it offers many aspects of care including a specialised Young Disabled Unit and a Nursing Dementia Unit. Birch Hall offers an abundance of communal space. The close proximity of all 3 homes allows them to be operated effectively and efficiently.
